Tidy ups

Most of the routine maintenance of Twinkle Park and Charlotte Turner Gardens, including grass-cutting, refuse collection, and general horticulture is undertaken by Greenwich Council’s Parks Department, but there are a number of occasions when Trustees and Friends of Twinkle Park also come out and lend a few hours to undertake particular tasks. In the past, this has included clearing duckweed from the pond (so the moorhens could swim across it rather than walk along the surface), leaf sweeping, litter-picking, and even building compost bins.

Volunteers are always welcome to help out, so please keep your gloves and wellies ready, and an eye on the News page for updates about the next session, or subscribe to our mailing list.
